About sophia
Sophia rejoined Assembly in July 2026 and is based in Austin, TX. She spent her early career at the firm supporting CEO and C-suite Finance, Technology, and Product searches for clients including TA Associates, Hg Capital, Thoma Bravo, and others. In between, she moved in-house to build the talent acquisition function from the ground up at a Texas-based architecture firm. She brings that client-side perspective back to executive search and enjoys the moments a placement comes together for clients and candidates alike.
When she's not working, Sophia can be found enjoying Barton Springs, at a dinner table with friends, or planning her next international trip.
Education
Sophia graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.S.A. in Biology and a minor in Business.

If you could instantly become an expert in something, what would it be?
Gardening! I have a small herb garden now, but dream of having an overflowing garden to cook from one day.
