About laura

Laura launched her career in executive search at SPMB. As an associate for their Emerging Market’s practice, she recruited VP and C-suite executives across late-stage venture capital, private equity and publicly-traded companies with a focus in placing CEOs, Finance, Go to Market (CRO, Customer Success) and Product Development (CTO, CPO) leadership. She’s worked closely with the portfolio companies of Warburg Pincus, Madrona Ventures, Stone Point Capital, Thomas H. Lee, Audax Private Equity, and others, successfully closing searches for companies across a diverse range of industries, including digital health, insurtech, adtech, consumer goods, security, fintech, industrials, HR tech, and beyond. At Assembly, Laura focuses on Product, Technology and Finance searches for PE-backed software and technology organizations. 

Laura grew up outside of Portland, OR and now resides in Boston, MA. Outside of work, you can find her doing yoga, running, cooking, painting, trying new restaurants or with her nose in a good book. 

Education 

Laura graduated Cum Lade with Distinction in Economics from Colorado College. 

If you could have lunch with one person, living or dead, who would it be?

I’d love to break bread with a lot of people, but at the moment it’s a tie between Dax Shepard & Phil Jackson.
