About Emmy

Emmy kickstarted her executive recruiting journey at True Search, where her work spanned across VC-backed, PE-backed, and mid-cap public companies. During her tenure, she specialized in executive hiring for People, Talent, and Legal roles, collaborating with the portfolio companies of Accel-KKR, Andreessen Horowitz, Insight Partners, Vista, and more. At Assembly, Emmy focuses on People/HR, Legal, and Finance searches in growth equity and PE-backed organizations.

Prior to executive search, Emmy joined Teach For America and taught high school Algebra II in Richmond, CA. She then led west coast sales at an ed-tech startup. Her dedication to driving talent enablement to shape transformational organizations has been a throughline of her career.

Originally from Austin, Emmy returned home with her husband and Australian Shepherd after a decade split between the East and West Coasts. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors, cooking and eating with friends and family, and travelling around looking for her next favorite city.

Education 

Emmy graduated from Princeton University with a B.A. in Psychology. She also holds a Masters of Arts in Urban Education. While at Princeton, she also captained the Varsity Women's Soccer team.

Favorite place you have ever traveled?

It's a tie between Vancouver, CA in the summertime and Amsterdam.
