About Carissa

Carissa began her executive recruiting career at Bespoke Partners, a boutique executive recruiting firm, as one of its first hires. She played an integral role in building the company’s infrastructure and client base. Carissa’s passion for building world-class leadership teams is what led her to start Assembly Group in February 2019 after nearly a decade in the industry. Carissa currently leads our CEO and CFO practice with a focus on PE-backed B2B enterprise software companies and has partnered closely with clients at Thoma Bravo, TA Associates, Hg Capital, Insight Partners, and Advent International.

Raised in Seattle, Carissa lived in 5 different cities until she finally settled in Austin. When she’s not working, you can find her exploring the city’s restaurant scene with her husband and sons or playing tennis.

Education 

Carissa graduated with honors from the University of San Diego with a B.A. in Communication Studies and Marketing.
